The School of Medicine and Health Sciences of Tecnológico de Monterrey (EMCS) is a private educational institution founded in 1978. It offers 5 undergraduate programs, as well as 17 medical specialties of the Multicenter Program, 2 doctorates: Clinical Sciences and Biomedical Sciences, 1 Master's in Clinical Sciences, a MDPhD program and 31 highly specialized courses. We are present in 4 locations nationwide: Monterrey, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Chihuahua where we have more than 1,000 professional and graduate professors who innovate by providing health education to our more than 2,500 students.
The School also has 8 Strategic Research Focus Groups. The EMCS has 78 professors in the National Research System (SNI), 1,039 publications, 116 active clinical research protocols and 1,419 students participating in research. It is an integral part of the Health System of the Tecnológico de Monterrey called TecSalud, of which the San José Hospital, the Zambrano Hellion Hospital and the TecSalud Foundation are part. It is also part of the strategic alliance with the public hospitals of the Secretary of Health of Nuevo León, Mexico.
